NYS BOAT LAUNCHES IN THE ADIRONDACKS

State Boat Launch Sites

Caroga Lake - On Route 29A (5 minutes from Adirondack Wilderness Adventures):
Beach Launch
Parking for 15 cars and trailers
Glenn will guide you to Caroga Lake Beach, boat launch site and campsite areas.

Directions:  
Take Left onto Persch Road.
At the end bear Left onto County Highway 112.
At Stop Sign take Left onto Route 29A.
Campground entrance with be 1.7 miles down on the Right.

Cost:  Nominal Fee charged: $6.00

Pine Lake - On Route 29A & 10 (10 minutes from Adirondack Wilderness Adventures):
Beach Launch

Pine Lake is a wonderful canoe trip for the day.
Directions:
Take Left on Persch Road.
At the end turn Left onto County Highway 112.
At the Stop sign take Right onto 29A & 10.
Follow Route 10 & 29A to Pine Lake Campground Entrance.
Follow Road Left to the Back end of the Lake.

Cost:  Free

Sacandaga Reservoir - On Rt 30 in Northville (20 miles)
Hard surface launching ramp
Parking for 60 cars and trailers

Sacandaga launch is located just above Northville bridge.  Many frequent this boating site for their launches.  It is located in the NY Adirondacks and is a NYS boat site.

Directions:  
Take Left onto Persch Road.
At the end bear Right onto County Highway 112.
Follow County Highway 112 until County Highway 125.
Follow County Highway 125 and bear right onto Benson Road (County Route 6)
Follow Benson Road to the end, and take Right onto Route 30.
Boat launch will be down on your left just before the Northville bridge.

West Lake - Off Route 10 (5 minutes from Adirondack Wilderness Adventures)
Hard surface ramp
Parking for 15 cars and trailers

The adirondacks hold many nys boat launches for your boating adventures.  Many are at NYS campgrounds.  This New York Adirondack photo is of West Lake in the Spring.  It is a few minutes north of caroga lake and only minutes from Adirondack Wilderness Adventures Yurts.

Directions:
Take Left on Persch Road.
At the end turn Left onto County Highway 112.
At the Stop sign take Right onto 29A & 10.
Road for West Lake will be 3.3 miles up on your left.
