Silver Lake
Silver Lake is a sparkling lake that names the Silver Lake Wilderness area. It is a 7.4 mile hike one way. This trip is well worth the time and effort. A lean-to is located at the site and the lake down the hill. A beautiful area to kick back and relax. This short guided trip is beautiful in fall foliage. The hike into Silver Lake is a Moderate level.

This package includes two nights lodging at Adirondack Wilderness Adventures and three days of guided hiking/camping. You will be receiving 1-2 licensed guides depending on the size of your party.

History of Silver Lake: Old Dan Wadsworth (a lumberjack) was a hermit around 1915 who took to the woods for good after the death of this wife. Dan was relocated to Silver Lake after the state bought the land and he died at the ripe old age of 90.
