ADIRONDACK SOLITUDE
REST & RELAXATION WITH WORK

MEET PAUL
April 18, 2004 - April 21, 2004

Paul enjoyed mountain biking the Adirondack Wilderness trails, the solitude hiking and the peaceful solitude of bird watching and relaxations. A wonderful guest that fit Back To Basics theme well, with a laid back attitude. We hope to see Paul again for future returns.

Paul arrived to Back To Basics to do a few things:  Hiking - Mountain Biking - and just some plain solitude.
The biking trails were a little muddy during Paul's trip (we only lost the snow a week ago), but he enjoyed what he could when he could.
Paul took in a few of the Mountain Biking trails, a hiking trip to Kane Mountain Firetower Summit, some rest and relaxation, and bird watching.
"Many thanks to Dan & Kim and to the natural world I have had the opportunity to experience.  While I have been here; I have attempted to be in the moment, to experience the fragrant wiff of wood smoke, to enjoy the viseral feel of rain, wind, thunder, and sun, and sense my place.  It seems to have happened:  My pace has slowed, my eyes have opened, and my smile widened.
The woodpeckers have put on a show drumming and foraging all around the yurt, and the hum and flutter of the chicadees brings cheer!
I explored several trails nearby and am encouraged by the wild places I have found.
I hope I have the opportunity to return someday,
Peace,
PAUL
