Itinerary for Guided Hikes at Adirondack Wilderness Adventures

Day One
One night stay at Yurt (before departure)

Day Two
Drive to Trail Head at Long Lake
Hike into Plumleys (8.3 miles)

Long Lake is a wonderful area to hike and explore.  You have several camp locals in this Adirondack area.

Day Three
Hike to Ouluska Pass (10.5 miles)
Camp at Ouluska Pass

Day Four
Hike to Duck Hole  (5.7 miles)
Stay at Duck Hole

Duck Hole a beautiful section to hike and camp.  Very scenic in fall foliage.

Day Five
Hike to Lake Placid (13.2 miles)
One night stay in Yurt

This package includes two nights lodging at Adirondack Wilderness Adventures  and four days of guided hiking/camping.  You will be receiving 1-2 licensed guides depending on the size of your party.

History of Plumleys:  Honest John was an early guide for the Adirondacks.  Annie Plumley knew fishing was better at the north end of the lake.  Annie served only coffee and potatoes and said she would be happy to serve fish if the fishermen would catch some.
