Meet Laura & Chris
Meet Chris & Laura from Calendonia NY. Chris is an electrician and Laura persuing a degree in the criminal field. The hosts really enjoyed your company, and look forward to meeting your group.
Chris & Laura during their stay, chose the history and scenic Adirondacks background.
They explored the old shrine and cemetery along with the trails and vleis.

"August 15th - We drove 3 1/2 hourse to get here, couldn't wait to find out what a "yurt" was all about.  We had a little trouble finding RT 112 but other than that the directions were great.  Met Kim & Dan, handshakes from Kim & Dan, licks & sniffs from POP.
Set up camp, "YURT" was great.  Fire wouldn't co-operate, thats OK.  Sky that night was incredible.
Hearing the different sounds around us was fascinating, not something were tuned into in every day life, very peaceful.
August 16th - Hiked around the area, many areas to explore.  Many things caught our eye, among them, the different types of frogs, newts and birds, however, the endless varieties and colors of the mushrooms were amazing.
Kim & Dan are accommodating hosts, making every effort to make our stay unforgetable.  They are knowledgeable about the area and gave us insight into which areas we might find interesting.
We chose this place because of the back to the basics theme, thinking we would relax and enjoy our surroundings, and that is exactly what we got."
"Yes, made it home safely, and getting back into the groove of life. We had a great time and enjoyed the yurt and the surroundings immensely. It was also nice to sit around the campfire Saturday night and chat with some adults without little ones scurrying around.
Have viewed the pics along with all of my other family members who were very interested in finding out what a yurt was, just need to keep reminding them it was a yurt, not a burt, gurt and all the other names they’ve come up with. We certainly have plans in the future to come back, along with some of our other adventurous members of our family. Had a great time.    Laura and Chris
