This is larger than you or me
with any part of the horizon you can see
The twists, the dips, the neverending slopes
for it is easy to see why to never leave
golden hills of evergreen
Silver palates of liquid cream
stars that filled the sky with a neverending gleam
tortured by the quiet, it's hard to get a wink
Doesn't matter, though
I'll just stay up and drink
