Meet Andrew (lawyer) and Lynne (communications) from Virgina. Arrived at Back To Basics with their best friend on August 30, 2003 and shuttled to southern end of NLP on the 31st. NLP plan: Upper Benson to Blue Mountain - self guided. Estimated days: 8. Please check back to see how their backpacking excursion when through the Southern Adirondack Pines and Hardwoods.
Meet Nika, best friend to Andrew & Lynne. Nika is a Malamute with a personality of her own. A pleasure to have in the Adirondack Camps.     Nika is taking in some relaxation after her long drive from Virginia.

Andrew & Lynne left to hike the Northville-Lake Placid trail from Upper Benson to Blue Mountain.
Andrew and Lynne complete their journey in Piseco with bad blisters.  They still enjoyed the time they experienced along the NLP.
