Deer hunting in the Adirondacks is an enjoyment to many. Consider staying at a unique hunting camp that is close to many State Access Hunting areas.

WE ARE SORRY BUT NO HUNTING IS PERMITTED ON BACK TO BASICS PROPERTY.  We are located on 15 wooded acres with vast wildlife, but for the safety of our other guests, popcorn, and children it cannot be permitted.  We will however, direct you to the abundant State Land access areas.  There are multiple State Land Hunting areas in the Adirondacks, and we at Adirondack Wilderness Adventures are located just minutes from many State Access sites.

We are located in the Northern region for hunting trips. The deer population is abundant as is the small game. We at Adirondack Wilderness Backcountry Camps & Yurts have titled one of our unique yurts whitetail run.

Early Bear Season:  Begins the first Saturday after the second Monday in September and continues for four weeks.

A state access mountain great for your wilderness hunting. Just ask your adirondack hosts for directions, less then a 10 minute drive.

Your Adirondack backcountry hosts are in the process of planning Guided Hunting Trips. We hope to have the Guided Hunting Trips up and running by the 2004 Hunting Season.
Please check back to see how we are progressing with the guides.

Consider a hunting trip through Powley Piseco Road. A backcountry wilderness all its own with state access land aplenty. Also great for the scenic drive, but once the snow flies, no road access (seasonal highway only).

Kims trying, first time to the remote hunting location in the Adirondacks. Alot of deer and bear sign here.
