Meet Jen, Mike & Blu-Dog

Southern Adirondack hiking anyone?
Jen, Mike & Blu-dog returned to Back To Basics to do some Southern Adirondack backpacking.

Blu dog decided to rest up in the new jeep prior to arriving at his pet-friendly accommodation.  An Adirondack Ger for the evening?

The Jeep Wrangler arrives at the trailhead.  It was time to unload the backpacks!
Jen & Mike decided on a NLP section from Upper Benson to Piseco for their backpacking excursion.

Time for a little dog training - wish Pop would stand like this when we put his backpack on!  Who let the dog out?
(Left) Jen gets Blu ready to go. (Right) Mike registers us in.

Blu is already enjoying his adventure trip in the Adirondacks.
Blu's watching something of importance. Our guess is the beagle down the road.

The Northville-Lake Placid trail was established in 1922 by the Adirondack Mt. Club and is now maintained by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.
At the trailhead!

Blu awaits his hiking trip - he is ready!  An Adirondack hiking trip - OK I'm ready!
Does my butt look big with this on?

A smile from ear to ear - Jen is excited to be off.

Blu is determined to get the fungi, just give him time.  Wild berries along the hiking trail.
