TAKE OUT AVAILABLE
Hap's Bar, Bleecker NY a favorite among the locals, a favorite for the snowmobilers, frequented by the bikers, and enjoyed by the visitors.
Hap's Tavern offers great drinks and food. Their job is to cater to the snowmobilers, locals, and motorcycle groups and they do their job well. They have rustic bar setting complete with a laid back atmosphere that the Bleecker locals enjoy along with the newcomers. In June 2004, an Antique Car Show was held with a great turn out. The locals along with newcomers attended a great event. To complete the Car Show event, trophies and the local DJ Country Backtracks were present for the entertainment. The turn out for the Antique Car Show went well and large tents were erected for everyone to enjoy the food along with the entertainment.
The antique triumph was among on of the entries at the Bleecker, New York Car Show.
Can forget Jeff's car. Jeff showing his prize possession during the Haps Tavern Show - June 2004 Many entries were submitted and the visitors and locals had a wonderful time viewing the relics.
Jeff displays the Hap's Tavern local T-shirt. Dan and I were able to catch him off guard. Bill catered to Mup. Mup was use to running loose, but with so many visitors she as too excited and wanted to play with them all.
Some of the guest at the show also turned out to be our neighbors. Meet Martha, Zara, Kayla, and Douglas. The Country Backtracks provided wonderful entertainment for the guest during their trip to Hap's
The motorcycles also showed for the event and enjoyed the local biker bar during their stop along the highway. The GTO was Kim's favorite and also got to meet Diane the owner of the car. A wonderful lady with a laid back attitude. The vehicles came in all shapes and size and the car show provide a liking to all.
Some vehicles were even up for sale during the show, but we couldn't see how some could part with their pride and joy. As we watched as they departed one by one. The pride and care they showed was outstanding.
We also were fortunate to meet John Tyoe who custom built his motorcycle. Johy resides in St. Johnsville, NY and is the owner and operator of Pop's Chop Shop. Johns bike was the only one that was still kick start and colored a unique orange. His custom bike work is to say the least an art. John Tyoe proudly displays his masterpiece. TO A JOB WELL DONE! The bikers did enjoy the Antique Car Show and many stayed until the very end.
