How To Find the Backcountry Camp in Upstate New York

That special vacation retreat in the Adirondacks is located in Upstate New York on the corner of Persch and Rhinehart.  The Adirondack backcountry accommodations are inclusive of camps and yurts.  The map program below will give you directions to your vacation accommodations in the Southern Adirondacks.  This backcountry adirondack photo is the trail to your vacation accommodations.  Retreat to the yurts.

FROM NEW YORK THRUWAY (EXIT 27):
Take Route 30N.
Follow Route 30N to Junction 349 (third left past Animal Land).
Take left onto 349 and follow it straight (349 will end, but just continue straight until you pass a small tree nursery (Harnish Bros) on your right.
The next Right is Route 309N.
Take 309N which will eventually change into County Highway 112 (at the Sawdust Cafe curve).
Continue on County Highway 112 looking for Persch Road which is a Left. (It is the same turn with signs for the Arctic Circle Ski Center and the Town Clerk).
Follow Persch Road until Rhinehart Road (dirt road on left).
You will see a Back To Basics sign along with our driveway on the corner.

DO NOT TAKE THE NORTHWAY I-87

FROM THE NORTHWAY:
Take the Saratoga Springs Exit 15.
Follow Route 50 & 9 South.
Take a Right on Route 29 West.
Take a Right on Route 30N to Junction 349 (third left past Animal Land).
