Kim and Dan,

Thank you so much for being great hosts. There's nothing quite as nice as hot apple brownies on a VERY cold winter night. That night it got so cold that the dog was shivering! We had to pull the covers over her. Despite the cold, we had a great time. Al graciously groomed the small amount of snow for us so we could ski - but I think we'll come later in the season next time. Too many gouges in the skis! We had a great time getting back to the basics - we both read more in three days than we can usually get time for in a month. It was really nice to not have any distractions like televisions, phones, or the sound of civilization.
