We will also gladly place the canoes at your choice location for the day, if your vehicle is unable to accommodate the canoe, just let us know where you would like to spend your day.
![]() (Left) - Al carrying the 12-foot canoe to White Lake. The carry was about 1/4 of a mile, not bad terrain. Al did have to bushwack this part of the Adirondacks.
(Right) - Loading the canoe at White Lake. We did have our tackel, worms and spoons, along with a casting reel and a fly rod. There is a small open bay at this lake, thanks to the beaver. The beaver did make it easier to launch the canoe.
![]() A scenic view of the remote pristine White Lake. White Lake is located in the remote backcountry of the Southern Adirondacks. White Lake provides many opportunities for you to pitch a tent for an overnite stay. The state DEC is now stocking this remote lake with brook trout for your fishing pleasures. A great place for a backcountry, backpacking canoe and fishing excursion.
