AN ADIRONDACK WEEKEND AWAY FOR THE GUYS IN THE SOUTHERN ADIRONDACKS!!!
Bill attempts to get reception on his cell phone in Bleecker, GOOD LUCK!
Bill was determined to get his Cell Phone to work in Bleecker, he even put an "X" marked the spot were reception came in for a brief instance.
Anthony & Michael friends to the end, if they don't kill each other first.  Anthony proudly displays his Green Mile T-Shirt, and before he takes the drive down 420 he will be renting a U-Haul.
(Left) - Anthony and Michael decided to kick back and relax behind the Main House at Back To Basics.  (Right) - Anthony's T-Shirt was catching (if you have seen the movie), and we are sure many did love Route 420 and frequent it often.
Michael and Popcorn take in a little wrestling in the back yard.  Dan & I don't know who had more energy, popcorn or Mike.
Michael decided on a little rough-housing with Popcorn, and pop was more than happy to participate with all the attention.
APPARENTLY POPCORN!
Michael was definately comfortable and decided on some R&R behind the Main House.
When this group arrived the settled into
Michael enjoyed his relaxation beneath the fast moving cloud cover this evening, and Dan & I were glad he and the group were comfortable enough to do so.
Everyone decided on a little chit chat behind the Main House that evening.  Michael was positive the clouds were moving to fast that evening.

During this groups weekend retreat, they decided on a short hike into the backcounty, behind Back To Basics property. The group did get turned around and wandered for a few hours trying to find their way Anthony, Dan & Mike discussed a little backcountry safety during their stay.
(Left) - Michael & Anthony during their Adirondack Vacation. We learned that the group resides in the Syracuse, New York area.  (Right) - Anthony, Michael & Dan discussing the Basics.
Dan and I enjoyed this group, and it was great to see them so relaxed here.
This group was raring to go, it was time to relax during their weekend getaway.
Michael showed up later in the evening and also had to leave a day earlier than the rest. He was a wonderful guest and we look forward to his return.
Michael showed up last at Back To Basics, and immediately kicked back.  We learned he is studying Political Science at school.
Anthony and Michael following their wrestling match in the backyard.  The group decided to come to the main house for dinner their first night here.
This group immediately relaxed upon arrival to the Southern Adirondack Mountains.
Kim asked Michael if he was pleased with his visit here, and Michael had no complaints.  We learned that Anthony owns a bar in the syracuse area, and will be sending us pictures shortly.
(Left) - When Kim arrived home, Michael let her know that everything was up to par.  (Right) - Anthony enjoyed his weekend getaway.
Anthony decided his favorite were noodles loaded in garlic (anything to help with the bugs).  Bill decided to work on the twice baked potatoes, eventhough, Kim left them in the oven to long during our evening hike.
Dinner was served at the Main House this evening.  Menu was:  hamburgers, twice baked potatoes, noodles loaded in garlic, and the groups first taste of MRE's (Beef Stroganoff & Chicken Teryikayi).
Mike decided on hamburgers and a beverage, and even helped Kim prepare the potatoes. THANK YOU!
Michael's decision for the evening:  hamburger or beverage.
The other Michael decided on a later dinner, in order to watch the lumber pile out front.
Dan brought the canoe over to the beaver pond across the street and Bill & Peter when to explore the water and wildlife.  They both seemed to have a wonderful time checking out the new area.
The following day, Bill decided on a canoeing excursion in the Beaver pond, with another one of our guests - Peter.
Dan took a wonderful Black & White during their canoe exploring.  Alot to explore in the Southern Adirondacks, along with making new friends in the process. We are very glad both parties decided to join us.
Both explored the shorelines and enjoyed the paddling experience.

July 16-19
Dan & Kim,

"We had a great time, you guys over did it!  We felt like old friends as soon as we started talking.  This was the experience of a lifetime, we can not wait to come back. We really hate your car.  However, with all of our empty beer cans you can probably fix the Jeep so don't sweat it.
I love "Beer Necessities" and don't be surprised if you start seeing a loft on your roof.
Here's Mike the Crooke.  Dan, Bill keeps telling me that you are my real father, is that true?  and Kim, Bill swears he stole your purse outside of a grocery store when he was 13.  Bottom line, you guys were great and I'm sure I'll write in this book on a later date. Thanks for everthing guys, THANKS AGAIN!
Bill, Mike, Anthony, (don't forget Mike).
PS:  See you in court Dan!"
