The place to stay. Try a unique yurt or consider a unique winter camping adventure.

We understand that the primitive accommodations are not suited to everyone, so please inquire about any questions or concerns you may have. Some thrive on this experience, and others cannot seem to cope and adjust to their new surroundings. We will do our best to make your transition back, a smooth and rewarding experience.

Currently, we have six accommodations for you to kick back in. The accommodations are listed on your left and will supply you with detailed descriptions, a photo gallery, and the current lodging rates.

Back To Basics accepts all types of payments for your convenience: MC/VISA, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, Checks, Pay-Pal, or the basic cash.

We do ask for a 50% deposit for your stay. For cancellations we do ask for a two week notification for a full refund of your deposit. If we are able to rebook your accommodation, for cancellations under two weeks, we will also supply you with your full refund.

Your lodging experience is in the Adirondack Wilderness Backcountry. We specialize in unique camps, yurts and a treehouse for your wilderness experience. Please also feel free to take in the outdoor adventures of the backcountry, it would add to your rustic accommodations and unique lodging experience.
